In October 2019, the Continental Institute for Technology and Transformation launched the first qualifications for production employees, which lead to a complete vocational qualification as a partial qualification on a modular basis. To date, the CITT has helped 320 people to obtain the IHK vocational qualification in this way – and thus to better career prospects.
Once again this year, Germany's best graduates were honored for special achievements. The 26 best of a total of 285 participants of the class of 2022/2023 were honored at the Regensburg site. In addition to employees of Continental, there were also employees of external companies – a sign that the CITT implements transformation holistically and successfully qualifies even across company boundaries.
During a festive ceremony, Ariane Reinhart (Executive Board Member for Human Resources and Sustainability at Continental) and the Chairmen of the CITT Advisory Board Francesco Grioli (IGBCE) and Christiane Benner (IG Metall) as well as other representatives of the CITT Advisory Board and the Regensburg site presented them with their certificates and congratulated them with distinction. A guided tour of the plant and a varied supporting programme rounded off the event.
After handing over the certificates and presents, everyone came together for a casual get-together with lunch to exchange ideas. We congratulate all graduates for their achievements during their training period!
After the award ceremony, the advisory board meeting of the CITT Advisory Board took place in a closed circle in the afternoon.
