The “Specialist in Production Organization IHK” course covers the skills that are required for the independent planning and development of comprehensive technical tasks in a complex, specialized, changing field of professional activity. Particular importance is attached to teaching current skills in the innovative area of “Industry 4.0”.

Target audience

Target audience

Graduates in professional technical training, immdediately after completion of the training course, as well as experienced employees from industrial production who wish to prepare for the methods and technologies for the implementation of digitalization in production. This means employees from companies in the fields of mechanical engineering, plant construction, vehicle construction, electrical engineering and others which are already involved in optimizing the planning, control and control increasingly digitalized production processes and want to be specifically qualified for this.

  • Completion of at least 3 years of industrial-technical training plus at least 1 year of professional experience

    Or: a successfully passed final examination in another recognized training occupation plus min. 2 years of professional experience in the field of production organization

    Or: at least 4 years of professional experience in the field of production organization

  • Solid PC knowledge and experience in using digital tools such as teams, Microsoft Office etc.
  • Affinity with PC programs such as CAD software

52 days (520 teaching units), including 5 days of practical work at our location in Korbach (50 teaching units)

Process

Process

  • Block teaching (10 teaching units/ 7.5 hours per day)
  • Theory lessons take place virtually, practical phase will take place at the Continental location in Korbach

4.986,80 Euro

This qualification is according to §82 SGB III Qualification Opportunities Act eligible for funding through the Federal Employment Agency.

Funding via education voucher:

  • Training course cost subsidy up to 30%
  • Wage subsidy up to 30%
  • Funding levels are coordinated individually with the Federal Employment Agency

Requirements for funding:

  • Highest educational qualification at least 2 years ago
  • No use of subsidized qualification via the Federal Employment Agency in the last 2 years

This advanced training is classified at level 5 in the German Qualifications Framework (DQR) and if the entry requirements are met leads to a qualification as a Certified Occupational Specialist in “Production Organization (IHK).”
