The C1TT Awards Ceremony 2025: a day filled with success stories

In the beginning of October, the top 2025 graduates were honored at the C1TT in Hannover-Vinnhorst. This event once again highlighted the institute's educational achievements and importance.

On October 9, 2025, this year's awards ceremony for the C1TT took place at the location in Hanover-Vinnhorst. Since C1TT was founded in 2019, participants have now achieved more than 650 IHK professional qualifications, a significant milestone for C1TT.

A colorful program awaited the graduates: The awards ceremony began with a presentation of the location, followed by a tour of the plant. Afterwards, the best of the class were honored in a ceremony. The day ended with a joint lunch that allowed plenty of time for conversation.

A large number of our “best graduates” obtained their IHK vocational qualification later on through the concept of partial qualification. They represent hundreds of people who, over the past years, have developed new skills and thereby gained new career opportunities.

This year, the success stories of Heyder G. and Danyil K. deserve special mention. Both came to Germany as refugees and were able to have their foreign vocational qualifications recognized through the qualification program for “Electronics Technician for Building and Infrastructure Systems.” This lays the foundation for successful integration into the labor market.

After completing his training, Danyil secured a permanent position at Vonovia, while Heyder now works as an electronics technician at Continental in Northeim. Both examples illustrate how training not only changes individual lives but also helps to address the growing shortage of skilled workers in Germany.

The awards were presented by advisory board members from industry, academia, and social partnership, including Francesco Grioli (IGBCE), Maike Bielfeldt (Chief Executive of the Hanover Chamber of Industry and Commerce), Ulrike Hintze (CHRO of Continental), Dr. Martin Kuhlmann (Göttingen Sociological Research Institute), and Prof. Dr. Friedrich Esser (President of the Federal Institute for Professional Education and Training). The panel was supplemented by invited guests from the labour agency, IHK and DIHK.

We congratulate all graduates on their achievements and wish them great success in their future careers.
